In order for the MagicJack to operate, customers must have a high speed internet connection.

Currently customers are not able to keep their existing phone number when signing up for use of the MagicJack As Seen On TV. The telephone number through MagicJack also will not be added to the telephone directory and customers do not have the option to add it. The MagicJack connection time is comparable to that of a traditional phone call from a landline.
